ECG and Heart Rhythm: Basics and Beyond 2018

This 4 day course is designed to provide general internists, hospitalists, family practitioners, and allied health professionals with state-of-the-art information on invasive and non-invasive electrocardiographic tools used in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. Attendees will realize important advances in the medical field and address educational needs and practice gaps. Through didactic lectures, case-study presentations, and audience interaction, this CME activity strives to develop and promote continuing medical education with the ultimate goal of enhancing patient care.

Call for Abstracts

Overview:  As part of the "2018 ECG and Heart Rhythm: Basics and Beyond" course, an electronic poster (ePoster) session for presentation of original research dedicated to the field of diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders will be held. Challenging cases are welcome. These may include challenging cases (i.e., case reports) of those encountered in clinical practice. The conference will also review invasive and non-invasive electrocardiographic tools used in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders and practice innovation or improvements. Posters will be chosen from all abstracts received by the Friday, January 5, 2018 submission deadline.

Abstract Eligibility:  Original abstracts that either have or have not been presented at other meetings will be considered for this conference based on the merits of the work. Abstracts based upon published papers will also be considered. 

Number of Entries:  A participant may be the primary author on no more than two abstracts; however, he or she may be a contributing author on any number of abstracts. Deadline: Abstract submission deadline is Friday, January 5, 2018.

Notification of Results:  Accepted abstracts will be notified by email. All primary authors will be notified by email no later than Friday, January 12, 2018 if their submission has been selected for the electronic poster session. Details regarding poster set-up will follow. Accepted abstract recipients must still register for the meeting to attend.
