This course fulfills the Delaware Board of Nursing's requirement for 3 units of coursework on substance abuse. Evidence-based information about the problem of chemical dependency in the workplace, warning signs of substance use disorder, drug diversion and controlled substances, including safeguards to prevent diversion, misuse, abuse, addiction, and overdose deaths. When you finish this course you will be able to: *Describe the 5 Schedules of medications under the Controlled Substances Act and give examples of each. |
