Interpreting the 12-Lead ECG with Confidence - Charlotte

Overview / Abstract:	This 1-day interactive course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of reading the 12-Lead. The course begins with the electrophysiological basis of electrocardiography followed by a step-by-step approach to reading the 12-Lead. The learner will be presented with numerous examples of “normal” 12-Leads as well as those with normal variants. Each presentation of abnormal findings is followed by opportunities for the learner to practice his or her interpretive skills. PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES This program prepares the learner to: 1. Describe the electrophysiological basis of the normal vs abnormal 12-Lead. 2. Outline a systematic approach to reading the 12-Lead. 3. Identify a 12-Lead as normal. 4. Identify early signs of life-threatening changes on the 12-Lead.
