Clinical Approaches to Vascular Ultrasound

Being held June 9-10, 2017 at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, “Vascular in Vegas: Clinical Approaches to Vascular Ultrasound” is a comprehensive, case oriented and interactive educational experience targeting physicians, sonographers, and technologists with an interest in the evaluation of vascular diseases with ultrasound. Building on traditional lecture formats and adding real time interaction, the participant will be able to actively participate in direct discussions of pertinent topics and areas of interest in vascular ultrasound.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, the participant will be able to:

Apply current diagnostic criteria to the diagnosis of carotid, venous, peripheral and abdominal arterial disease
Apply current diagnostic criteria to the diagnosis of carotid, venous, peripheral and abdominal arterial disease

Implement active and accurate ultrasound imaging protocols

Follow current diagnostic guidelines

Integrate ultrasound imaging with other vascular imaging modalities

Educate peers and colleagues on the diagnostic value of vascular ultrasound for specific vascular diagnoses

Interpret vascular ultrasound examinations taking into account pitfalls and limitation of ultrasound imaging

Improve the quality of the ultrasound examination by learning technical tips and tricks
