Overview / Abstract
Upon successful completion of this activity, pharmacist preceptors should be able to:
1. Given a practice-related issue, discern if an ethical problem is present.
2. Define and apply the following principles to clinical practice issues: respect for autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, justice and fidelity.
3. Given an ethical problem, propose a justifiable resolution.
4. Describe methods to model and encourage sound ethical decision making in clinical practice.
