Overview / Abstract:

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of the activity, learners should be better able to:
• Characterize the secondary preventive value of HAART as it relates to decreasing HIV transmission
• Identify approaches to enhance the secondary preventive value of HAART as it relates to decreasing HIV transmission

TARGET AUDIENCE
Physicians (both specialists and primary care/family medicine) and nurses who are frontline providers of care to persons at risk of or with HIV infection. Other healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, involved in caring for these individuals may also participate.
