You’re an on-the-go traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time (1-2 hours) isn’t a big deal. You can navigate hills and uneven ground, climb into various modes of transportation (tuk-tuk, cable car, zodiac, etc.), and could possibly anticipate changes in elevation. You can expect some longer days balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure.

Day 1: Rome, Italy - Tour Begins
Your tour opens in the “Eternal City” of Rome! Tonight, join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner featuring wines and local delicacies. Your home for the next 3 nights is the Hotel Ponte Sisto. Today dinner will be included.
Day 2: Rome
After breakfast, attend a morning CME session. After that, make the most of free time in Italy’s capital city. Perhaps tour the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica, taking in world-renowned wonders such as the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s mural of the Last Judgment. Consider strolling through the Borghese Gardens for views of the city’s skyline or meander through Rome’s bohemian Trastevere district. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 3: Rome – Optional Excursion
On a locally guided tour of Classical Rome, walk over cobblestone streets and weathered passageways to discover famous sights such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Recount the rich history of the Colosseum on an in-depth visit with a guide, walking in the footsteps of former gladiators. This afternoon, partake in your first CME Session. The evening is yours. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 4: Rome - Montecassino - Amalfi Coast
Journey to the Amalfi Coast, an iconic coastline of rocky beaches and towering cliffs. En route, make a stop at the Benedictine monastery of Montecassino, perched on a mountaintop that played a pivotal role in World War II. Discover its history while exploring the monastery’s ornate chapel, courtyards, and museum. In the afternoon, settle into the Amalfi Coast. Your home for the next 5 nights is the Hotel Raito, in the town of Vietri sul Mare, overlooking the sea. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 5: Amalfi Coast - Sorrento - Farmhouse lunch - Amalfi Coast
Begin your day exploring the popular and charming resort town of Sorrento. Wander through the narrow streets of the city centre, perhaps exploring the peaceful courtyard of St. Francis Church or sampling some gelato made with local lemons. Then we visit a local farm and see how traditional mozzarella cheese is made by hand. Get a taste of the product at a farm-to-table lunch before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon. Today breakfast and lunch will be included.
Day 6: Amalfi Coast - Amalfi - Positano - Amalfi Coast
Journey by boat (weather permitting) to Amalfi, the rocky coast’s namesake town. Formerly a maritime republic, Amalfi puts a historic spin on the seaside hubs, containing cobblestone piazzas and towering mosaicked cathedrals. After a few hours on your own, ferry past tumbling cliffs and pastel-colored houses on your way to Positano. Enjoy a free afternoon in this resort town, perhaps browsing the posh boutiques or resting along the beach. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 7: Amalfi Coast
This morning, partake in CME Meeting sessions. Spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring the Amalfi Coast. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 8: Amalfi Coast - Pompeii - Winery - Amalfi Coast
This morning partake in your final CME meeting sessions. At the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, stop at a local winery to savour the famous Lacryma Christi wines and enjoy a typical Neapolitan lunch. Next, experience the eerily preserved ruins of Pompeii your way, because It’s your choice! Join a local guide for a in-depth tour of Pompeii’s best-known monuments: the excavated ruins of the Forum, the thermal baths and the Sanctuary of Apollo –OR– venture further to discover the hidden corners of this vast archeological site, such as the vibrant frescoes of the Suburban Baths and the once bustling thermopoli (taverns). Join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner and bid salute to the end of your Italian getaway. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.
