Overview / Abstract: |
Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeons practice both the medical and surgical aspects of our specialty. Advances can come rapidly from different areas. Most educational courses focus on a particular part of the specialty, such as sinus surgery, otology, or facial plastic surgery. Therefore, there is a strong need for a comprehensive update course in the New York City area. This course will allow the participants to receive a cogent but comprehensive update and review on all aspects of the specialty, at a single course. Similar courses are held in other parts of the country, and are highly-rated and well-attended. This course is designed for practicing otolaryngologists and residents in training nationally. It is intended that this Columbia University CME activity will lead to improved patient care. At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to: • Describe the latest advances in auditory implants, hearing loss, hearing aids, and rehabilitation |
