Reduce the Anxiety: Best Practice for Pediatric Immunizations (Pharmacists)

Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

In 2017, the combined 7-vaccine series for children 19-35 months was 70.4%. With schools starting, children and adolescent immunizations may need to take place at night, on weekends, or during holidays - a perfect time for a pharmacist to support care. This program will help pharmacists understand the nuances of immunization care in pediatrics and adolescents, understand how scope of practice may influence practice, and how to create interprofessional collaboration to improve vaccination rates.
