Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have a critical role in the national efforts to reduce the illegal production of methamphetamine in the United States. The Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005 tasks pharmacy associates with abiding by rules that regulate the sale of over-the-counter pseudoephedrine and ephedrine products, drugs that are used in illegal methamphetamine manufacturing. |
