Target Audience This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of clinicians involved in the care of patients with or at risk for influenza, including those specializing in internal medicine, family medicine, hospital medicine, gynecology, emergency medicine, and critical care. It may also benefit other clinicians who are interested or involved in the care of patients with or at risk for influenza. Program Overview Every minute counts in the race to treat or prevent influenza in high-risk patients. But clinical uncertainty can present stumbling blocks: Does the patient have influenza, COVID-19, or both? Is the patient high risk? Should antiviral therapy be initiated? If so, when, and which one?
