| Overview / Abstract: |
August 14-15, 2026 Participants will explore species-specific dosing considerations, veterinary dosage forms, toxicities, and formulation strategies used in veterinary compounding. The course also reviews key regulatory requirements, including prescription verification, labeling, and compliance standards, while emphasizing safe and accurate compounding practices. In addition, participants will be introduced to strategies for effectively communicating and collaborating with veterinarians, as well as practical approaches to supporting and growing veterinary compounding services within a pharmacy setting. Seating is limited to maintain a low instructor-to-participant ratio and support hands-on learning. Upon completion, participants will receive a Pharmaceutical Compounding Certificate and 15 hours (1.5 CEUs) of continuing education credit.
